  • Start Alsike Clover seeds by direct-seeding outdoors in early spring or fall. For best results, sow seeds in well-prepared soil that is free of weeds.

Broadcast seeds evenly and lightly rake into the soil surface. Keep the soil consistently moist until germination, which typically occurs in 7-14 days, depending on conditions. Seeds do not need to be buried deeply as light exposure aids in germination.

In fall planting, ensure seeds are sown early enough for roots to establish before the first frost. Thin seedlings to a spacing of 6-12 inches (15-30 cm) apart for optimal growth and coverage.

Alsike Clover requires full sun to part shade and thrives in moist, well-drained soils. It tolerates poor or acidic conditions, making it suitable for various environments. Once established, Alsike Clover is low maintenance and drought-tolerant.

  • Trifolium hybridum
