A huge perennial herb plant that has a flavour similar to celery.  Grows to full size of 4-6 feet tall in 2-3 years.  Tall, yellow flower umbels are very attractive to bees and butterflies.  Use lovage in soups, stews, salads and more.  Hardy to zone 3.
