Purple Tomatillos are a striking and flavorful addition to any garden, producing small, deep purple fruits with a sweet-tart taste. Unlike green tomatillos, purple tomatillos develop a richer sweetness when fully ripe, making them perfect for fresh salsas, sauces, and Mexican dishes. The fruits are enclosed in papery husks that split open as the tomatillos mature, revealing their vibrant color. Highly productive and easy to grow, purple tomatillos are a must-have for gardeners looking to add unique flavor and color to their harvest.

Product Title: Purple Tomatillo Seeds – Sweet, Tangy, and Vibrant Tomatillos for Salsas and Cooking (30 Seeds)
Tomatillo - Purple Seeds
Start tomatillo seeds indoors 4-6 weeks before your last frost date, as these plants grow quickly and can become leggy if started too early. Press seeds into the soil, cover lightly, and keep the soil consistently moist until germination, which typically occurs in 7-10 days. If plants become leggy, they can be "potted up" with the stem buried to promote a stronger structure.
Once the risk of frost has passed, transplant tomatillos outdoors in a sunny location, spacing plants 24-36 inches (60-90 cm) apart for optimal growth. To ensure fruit set, plant at least two tomatillo plants.
